MORE THAN JUST AN IMAGE by Kaye Linn
Before you start reading on, here's a lil tidbit about me: I am not JUST "another model"...
I'M NOT JUST AN IMAGE OR PHOTO... I am a real person living a real, honest, busy and at times bitchy lifestyle. I HAVE CHARACTER AND ATTITUDE. I believe a photo cannot perceive anyone's personality. I am more to what meets the eye.
I'm not just THAT girl on flyers, posters, ads and magazine pages.... I get involved in the fashion industry and do RUNWAY MODELING. I am a good (or even better) print model as well as a superb model on the catwalk.
I AM NOT JUST A GIRL STANDING BY AND LOOKING PRETTY BY A MACHINE!! I do not just pose for the camera, dress pretty and look beautiful... I GET INVOLVED! Yes, i get down and dirty by fixing up cars, ride motorcycles, go dirtbiking, autocrossing, four-wheeling, and all that good stuff other girls refuse to touch. I fix my own ride. I am REAL. I'm not on some kind of a diet. I keep an active lifestyle, eat whatever I please and of course, bitch and complain I'm fat when I'm not. (hey at least, I'm cool enough to admit it!)
So with that said.... here's the regular stuff about me. hahaha :o)
Born in the Philippine Islands on Summer Solstice of 1983; I have a Filipina, Turkish and Spanish bloodline.
I presently reside in the Bay area. I get hyphy and dance, act, and style differently.
I am an unrecognized trendsetter My style is unique and brilliant; and everyone loves it but some people loathe upon it. It is quite a remarkable and interesting sight to see people making a success of them selves with something I have started.
I am an optimist. I see the glass ALWAYS half full.
Negative people just make me stronger. I often thrive off of them but sometimes they make me cry.
I cry when I feel like it and I am not afraid to show my emotions. However, I do want to advise that I am not overly emotional. :o)
I love to compose, read, and make music. Soon youll see the fruits of my labor and I mean some time this year!
I express myself in fashion, music and dance. It frees the creative, wild, captive soul in me.
I treasure my immediate family and friends.
I am open-minded.
I am liberal and would not hesitate to run naked under my toga on Grad-school graduation. Hahahahaha
I am determined and driven. No one and I mean, NO ONE will ever get in the way of me making my dreams into reality. I do not care who you are, what you do or who the hell you are with. Im going to be who I want to be and be where I want to be.
I am an explorer. Curiosity feeds my interest and success in life.
I love roller coasters and extreme sports. I like going to theme parks.
I eat whatever I wish. I love to explore food and its cultural background.
I am a work-a-holic. I love what I do... maybe a lil too much. :o)
I am easy to work with
What is despicable to me?
People who put on a facade and try to be nice to me when in fact they do not have the courage to say they dislike me or anything that relates to me in person. I despise these people who try to be my friend but talk smack behind my back and ruin my dreams when I do my very best to honestly make them into a reality.
People who think they are the shit. I do not freaking care if you have been on every single local publication, if youre head is blown up like a multi-colored 200 ft. hot air balloon and dont give a rats ass about people that value you most for the longest period of time. I really hate you. People who are willing to give up everything they have known before they got famous and fabulous and just mistreat them because they feel like they have authority. You disgust me!!!! *grrrr*
People who spread untrue rumors about me. One can never tell what and who a person is until you actually have known them personally and speak with them for a few minutes.
People who dont have a sense of humor.
I have been nice to a lot of people, helped them, gave sound advice but Ive got nothing in return but bad remarks and a stab in the back. Im not going to be as nice anymore. My guard is on now and Im not going to tolerate anyone getting in my way of making my dreams a reality. Ive worked hard, slept a couple of hours too many times every single week and enslaved myself in my work to just give up now. Hence, ITS ON!
To those who despise me, what I stand for and dont have the courage to say it to my face f*ck off! I dont need people who pretend to be my friends and still insist we are on good terms when we are not. I dont need that kind of drama I do not wish to be thrown under the bus for helping people out. I, at least bit, am appreciative of whatever others do for me.
I hug people on a regular basis, give kisses to those that mean to me and soon enough build relationships with them. Hugs go a long way, kisses go farther and relationships last forever.
