Born in Springfield, TN, Jody is a breath of fresh air and a vision of beauty who didn't always see herself that way.
When she was young, her mother moved Ohio where she spent her childhood. "I didn't much care for it because I love the country and theres nothing here but buildings and more buildings." Jody enjoys visiting big cities, but her heart's still in the country.
With a love for the arts, poetry, reading and drawing, Jody wanted to take automachanics and woodshop in high school, "but for some reason they never gave it to me." She did however get to participate in drama, choir, swing choir, various art classes, and a few business classes.
With a love of sports, she ran track and cross country until asthma got the best of her.
When it came to modeling, like many others, she was coaxed into it with the assurances of people she'd meet suggesting she give it a try, to consider runway, so she gave it a shot with a photographer friend, "just for fun. From there, I met a girl on MySpace, and she gave me the link to ModelMayhem. I signed up and not long after I was recieving alot of email." And its been mostly uphill since.
"I've enjoyed every second of it, and I've enjoyed meeting people along the way, especially all my photographer friends!! I'd like to go as far as I can with modeling - I want to be published, I want to do runway, I want to go far and achieve much. I look forward to the path ahead."
